Scott grew up in the suburbs of New York City but the warm sunshine and sandy beaches of the West Coast always called to him. When it was time to go to college, he decided to “evacuate” from the East Coast, moving to Los Angeles to attend UCLA. He quickly realized that his personality was a much better fit for the laid back California lifestyle than for the hustle and bustle of NYC. His friends frequently say that he was “born on the wrong coast.” He now lives in Orange County with his family and essentially considers himself a SoCal native.
Although Scott was raised on rock and roll, a trip to Nashville expanded his interest in country music. Scott’s musical influences range from classic rock icons like Tom Petty, U2 and The Eagles to current country stars like Luke Combs and Eric Church.
